Prague

 Everyone's going to Prague! A small, medieval city brimming with character with cobbled streets, narrow alleyways, pastel coloured building, and famous Christmas and Easter markets.

Easily accessible from major European cities, Prague is the perfect weekend getaway. Here's our guide on what to see in two days:

DAY 1:
PRAGUE OLD TOWN SQUARE 
The historic town square of Prague is where the famous annual markets are
held. Here you'll find a square rich with architecture, gorgeous restaurants
and gift shops. Highlights of the square includes:

Medieval Astronomical Clock which performs a 'walk of the Apostles' show every hour.

Old Town Hall which is a complex structure of multi connected medieval buildings.

Gothic Church of Our Lady Before Týn with iconic towers featuring small spires.

Beautiful Baroque church of St. Nicholas where Mozart played the organ.

The striking monument to Jan Hus commemorating his martyrdom.

The beautifully adorned Rococo Kinský Palace which now serves as an art museum.

JOSEFOV 
Formerly known as the Jewish ghetto, Josefov is a treasure trove of antiques stores, clock stores, postcards and souvenirs.

FRANZ KAFTA STATUE 
The statue is an installation with 42 moving
panels which forms and distorts the face of Franz Kafka.

WENCESLAS SQUARE 
Located in the 'New Town' this is where you'll find locals in one of the busiest shopping areas with international brands and designers.

PRAGUE DANCING HOUSE
A highly original building resembling and inspired by the famous dancing duo, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.

DAY 2:
CHARLES BRIDGE & PRAGUE CASTLE
Charles Bridge which crosses the Vltava River is Prague's most photographed attraction. The bridge is lined with 16 arches and adorned with 30 baroque statues and figures. Don't miss the graffiti wall inspired by John Lennon. Afterwards head to Prague Castle which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and
castle complex rich in architecture and art history.

VITUS CATHEDRAL

Located next to Prague Castle, the cathedral is the city's largest and most important church and home to the Archbishop of Prague.
